In a video shared online, DeeOne questioned the credibility of Cross’ claim and challenged him to provide evidence that such an offer was made.
“Who will give you ₦500 million? Now I can understand when VeryDarkMan actually comes and assaults you all Nigerians like you guys are gullible,” he said.
DeeOne argued that Cross’ claim was difficult to believe, asking why someone would allegedly offer such a huge amount of money for a sexual encounter.
He also dismissed the idea that a man would offer ₦500 million for such an encounter, while comparing it with other claims of people being offered large sums of money for sexual relationships.
DeeOne further accused some people of using sensational claims to push agendas, urging Nigerians not to allow themselves to be misled.
“Please, don't let all these people brainwash you. ₦500 million to sleep with a man? What's in the young man's body?” he asked.
He also urged his followers to focus on issues affecting the country and the entertainment industry rather than what he described as repetitive controversies surrounding claims of sexual offers.
“Let's talk about the country or let's talk about industries. ‘Sleep with me’ and all this kind, I beg, I beg, is boring,” DeeOne added.
